I've had the Ratsherrn Summer Ale from a mini keg before, but figured I should review this beer from the bottle as well. It poured golden with a small white head which quickly dissipated. I could smell vague sweetness and mild fruit. The flavor was slightly sweet with some fruit and grassy hops. I found the beer pretty boring, but it would be alright out in the sun. The grassy hops and general blandness reminded me of your typical grocery store pilsner. I enjoyed this beer a bit more from the mini keg just because of the novelty but neither experience was all that good. I won't be having this beer again.
