Zeos Pilsner (Unpasteurized)

I wouldn't normally order a pilsner unless under duress, but after reading good reviews of this beer and not being interested in any of the other drafts at Beer Time I figured I'd give it a try. Also since it was free as my second draft for happy hour there wasn't much to lose. It was a clear golden yellow with a solid white head. I could smell cereal, lemon, and slight spice. It had a small amount of hop bitterness and was very drinkable. I instantly wanted some sunlight to go along with grain and lemon flavors. This beer also had a good looking head and great lacing. I don't usually enjoy pilsners much, but this was a solid beer.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
