Solipiwko Sweet Nygus

There seemed to be a barnyard's worth of milk stouts available in Poland and I chose this one because, it caught my eye and it was on the list! It poured black with almost no head. When I poured the rest of the half liter I made sure to get a faster and further pour to generate more head. I could smell some roast and milk chocolate. The flavor featured roast, chocolate, smoke and tobacco. It was kind of flat, and I had to wonder where the carbonation was. After the beer warmed, and I poured the rest of the half liter I could taste some more chocolate and sweetness than before. This beer had a pile of flavor for 4.8%, but I found it kind of gross.

Overall: 6/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
