Bosphorus Karbon Roasted Coffee Chocolate Stout

Despite the disappointing showing by their IPA, I wanted to try another brew from Bosphorus. The Karbon Roasted Coffee Chocolate Stout certainly had an impressive name. It arrived black with a tan head. There was a lack of aroma which is never a good sign. It had a medium body and almost no carbonation because it was a cask ale.  The flavor had faint chocolate and possibly a hint of coffee but was lacking. I guess I should know better than to be tricked by fancy buzzwords in a beer's name (or any product for that matter), but I doubt this will be the last time.

Overall: 6/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
