Hopfenstopfer Citra Ale

Citra Ale poured an orange brown and came with a massive lasting head that I've seen on other beers from Häffner Bräu. Citrus, tangerine, mango, orange, and grapefruit combined to form an aroma which was impressive and slightly sour. The flavor was mild orange and citrus and wasn't as bold as the aroma. This beer was highly carbonated, and it was quite crisp. While plenty drinkable I did find Citra Ale to be a bit of a let down after the aroma.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
