Riedenburger Weihnachtsfestbier

What better way to celebrate Christmas than with a beer featuring Santa Claus? Riedenburger Festbier came down the chimney a dark reddish brown with a medium sized white head that faded. I smelled no soot or ash, but I did catch caramel, bread, grass, and hay. The festivities of flavor were caramel, bread, and slight spice mixed with a noticeable but pleasant bitterness. This beer was appropriately highly drinkable, and I could easily have many but not so many as to where I think I see St. Nick.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
