Thornbridge Jaipur

Jaipur poured hazy gold with a kind of lumpy large white head. The hop aromas were plentiful with citrus, rind, and tropical fruit coming through. The beer didn't taste very bitter, had a smooth light body and less carbonation than I expected. I could taste earthy floral hops but found the flavor to be too mellow for an IPA. This beer was enjoyable, but I did expect a bit more from it after the impressive aroma.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
