Alechemy Galaxy Burst

Galaxy Burst calls itself an IPA on the bottle but has an ABV of 5.3% which is more inline with a pale ale. It poured a clear light gold with a white head. The aroma was good with caramel, citrus, and peach. I found the flavor even better with grapefruit, peach, lemon rind, and caramel all coming together in a delicious not too bitter package. This was a smooth beer with small bubbles that made the carbonation slightly tingley. I really liked this beer and think it would do well against any of the session IPAs which are currently popular in the USA.

Overall: 9/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
