DouGall's Haiti

Some people will tell you that they only drink stouts in the winter time. While I understand the appeal of enjoying this delicious style more seasonally, I'm more than happy to have a stout in the summer. The heat in Malaga wasn't going to stop me from having DouGall's Haiti. As expected it looked black and had a tan head. I could smell chocolate, coffee, licorice, and roasted malts. The flavor followed pretty much exactly but also had some cream and caramel. The beer didn't particularly feel like 8% ABV and was pretty easy to drink.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
