Belgian Coast IPA

I didn't expect to enjoy one of my favorite beers of the summer while in France. Unsurprisingly this beer wasn't French but a collaboration between St. Feuillien from Belgium and Green Flash from the U.S.A. It arrived a tasty looking orange gold with an overly massive white head. There were smells of apple, pear, tropical fruit, and spiciness. The flavor was very similar containing all the previous smells and a solid grain and malt backbone. It tasted sort of like a hoppy Tripel instead of just a standard IPA. It was a good well rounded beer and fun to drink while soaking in the end of a beautiful day.

Overall: 9/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
