Mönchshof Weihnachts Bier

This beer didn't come down the chimney unfortunately. It was light brown with small finger's worth of white head. The smells were grass, hay, gingerbread, and a little spice. The flavor was crisp and comprised of bready malt, grass, hay, and orange peel. Overall this beer tasted very German as one might expect. Despite being very drinkable this was another beer that wasn't all that interesting.

Overall: 6/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
