Lammsbräu Winterfestbier

This beer poured a delicious deep brown with a white head. The smells were caramel, malt, and sweetness. I enjoyed the flavor of caramel, bready malts, honey, and hint of spicy hops on the finish. This is a Festbier done right and would make a great addition to your holiday festivities. I'm surprised how often "Fest" beers in Germany miss the mark. If you feel the same way then you'll be impressed when you try this beer.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
