Einbecker Winter-Bock

This dark ruby beer had a small white head. The aroma was licorice, sweet cherries, bready malt, and a little watery. The taste was dark fruit, cranberries, bready malt, and sweet mild syrup. It kind of felt like a fortified pilsner. This beer was almost there but unfortunately was missing something. It did hide the 7.5% ABV well.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
