Fuller's ESB

At this point I'm always excited to try a beer from Fuller's that I haven't tried yet. It came out amber with a thick white head. I could smell hops, malt, and spice. There was a bitter orange citrus taste as well as hops and malt. The main flavor was definitely bitter and a little more bitter than I like. I haven't tried many beers in this style before and I'm curious if my tastes will evolve. It kind of reminded me of a pale ale with an off taste to it. Even though I didn't love it I'm sure it is a good representation of the ESB style and if you enjoy it you should try it.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
