Kingpin Berserker

I received Berserker looking well dressed in black with about 2 fingers worth of off white head. I could smell coffee, citrus, lemon and an earthy quality I equated to spring but my drinking companion thought was more like fall. It felt smooth but kind of thin in my mouth, and it had low carbonation. Coffee, toffee, citrus and earthiness made up the flavor. This beer was alright, but I found it kind of lacking for the high praise I saw laid before it online. I also was having plenty of excellent beer during my trip which made it harder for this one to stand out.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
