AleBrowar Black Hope

Black Hope lived up to its name by pouring black. It also had a tan head which seemed to just disappear. Lots of roast, coffee, and some chocolate made up the aroma as well as some floral hops. There was almost no carbonation to go along with the medium body. I found the lack of carbonation off putting. The flavor was decent with lots of roast, coffee, and chocolate. This beer had potential, but the lack of carbonation just didn't do it for me.

Overall: 7/10

About averageguysguidetobeer

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
