I was pleasantly surprised to find Septem Friday's Pale Ale at Makalo when we visited on a Friday. I ordered a chicken fillet cooked with soy sauce and red wine served on kritharaki for €7.50. My beer was a light orange brown with a small white head. The smell consisted of light citrus. The flavor was subtle with citrus and cereal coming together to form a beer that was very much a pale ale. It paired pretty well with my dish and made for a pleasant dining experience. The food was way tastier than the beer though.
