Septem 8th Day

Septem seemed to be regarded as the best Greek craft brewer from what I read online, so I was very excited to find their 8th Day IPA on tap at Beer Time. It arrived orange brown with a small white head. I could smell fresh citrus, lemon, and some general hoppiness. It had low carbonation and light body in my mouth. The flavor was not too bitter with moderate citrus and lemon. It reminded me a bit more of a pale ale than an IPA. It was a decent beer but didn't live up to my high hopes.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
