Jacobsen Brown Ale

My better half brought this beer back from the airport for me, because she had received a gift card that had to be spent there. It poured dark brown and had a fizzy head that reminded me of soda in appearance and how quickly it was gone. The aroma was bread, nuts, and sweetness. The beer had fine carbonation and a thin body. The flavor revealed sweet nutty bread with a hint of cinnamon but it was mostly bland. I can't say I really enjoyed this beer.

Overall: 6/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
