Ratsherrn Pilsener

This is a beer I've drank several times, but for some reason don't have a good picture of. It looks pale golden like straw with a normal sized head. As expected there are some bitter grass and hay hop smells mixed with lighter grain malt ones. The taste follows the aroma and produces a decent pilsner flavor. The bitter hops can be refreshing and overall the beer tastes clean. The thing I don't get is why they are trying to pass this as craft beer when it tastes very similar to most mass produced German pilsners. While this is a decent pilsner, it definitely is not special.

Overall: 6/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
