Buxton Imperial Black IPA

This was the second beer I had while at The Hanging Bat. Buxton's Imperial Black IPA was handed over looking dapper in black with an off white head. It smelled nice with a mix of fruity hops and roast. This beer was really good. It had low carbonation and was very smooth with a moderate amount of bitterness. The flavor contained ample orange, chocolate, and roasted malt. I really liked this beer and it was my favorite of my trip to Edinburgh.

Overall: 9/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
