Domus Aurea

I wanted an IPA when I walked into Cervecería Arte&Sana Craft Beer, so I figured I'd try out the Domus Aurea which I'd never heard of. It was a cloudy yellow blonde with a small white head. There were plenty of citrus and tropical hops to get my nose excited. The flavor pretty bitter with orange, tangerine, pineapple, and grapefruit. It was tasty but lacked a depth to the flavor. Despite not being a stand out in the crowded IPA field, it gave me a bitter and hoppy IPA which I wanted, and I'd be interested in trying more beers from Domus.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
