Rebel IPA

This beer was the first draft I had at Zlý Časy. It arrived golden brown with a moderate amount of head. I could smell bread and caramel mixed with faint fruitiness. I was surprised as I drank this beer, because it was quite sweet and only slightly bitter like I expect an ipa to be. Smooth caramel dominated the flavor with some bread and hints of fruit being barely noticeable. I found this beer to be decent, and it is more like a traditional English IPA than what is normally encountered.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
