Mönchshof Kellerbier

This Kellerbier was a reflective copper with a white head. The aroma was a mix of grain and bread malt and grass and spicy hops. The flavor followed suit but the grass and spicy hops were larger in the flavor than the the nose leads you to believe. It is definitely one of those classic easy to drink German beers. It is not challenging, but that isn't something that every beer needs to be. This is a good beer to become acquainted with the Kellerbier style.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
