DouGall's Tres Mares

I was pretty excited to give this beer a try. I enjoy brown ales, and it is a style I haven't been able to drink much in the last couple of years. This beer was a medium brown with some lighter brown highlights. It poured with very little head, and what was there didn't last very long. The aroma was full of caramel, toffee, and nuts. The flavor consisted of sweet caramel toffee which ended slightly bitter. I found this beer to be alright but too sweet for me and not all that memorable.

Overall: 7/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
