St. Bernardus Wit

This beer looks like a golden hefeweizen with a large but not quite as voluminous head. The smell had a mix of wheat, yeast, spice, pepper, and a hint of acidity. The flavor was full of wheat, orangey citrus, pepper, and bready malt. This beer was really good and has me intrigued to spend some more time with Witbiers which are a style that I have little experience with.

Anyone have a favorite Witbier that I need to try? Let me know in the comments!

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
