I wanted to try something different one Saturday night that found me in the Altes Madchen and I decided on the Ratsherrn Hamburger Weissbier. I was surprised when it was served in a pint glass and had almost no head.

I was sceptical about this slightly hazy dark golden beer. It smelled just like a hefeweizen and a little sweet. The taste followed with a traditional and slightly sweet flavor with banana, clove, and yeast. The taste was way better than the presentation. I will probably try this again because I had already had a few beers and would like to taste with a cleaner palate. Maybe it will even be served in proper glassware next time!
Overall: 7/10
