Belhaven Scottish Stout

This beer poured black with a one and a half finger off white head. I noticed malt, chocolate, and coffee in the aroma. The flavor starts subtle and toasty and then really comes on. I mainly tasted toasted biscuit and coffee. It feels smooth in the mouth and finishes dry. This beer was really impressive and one of the best stouts I've had. I was surprised that the glass bottle was clear. If you are a fan of stouts then this is a beer you need to try.
