Maisel & Friends Pale Ale

I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Maisel and Friends Pale Ale in the local Getränkemarkt down the street from my apartment. It poured a gold brown with a white head that quickly became small. I could smell citrus, grapefruit, rind, flowers and grain. The flavor was smooth and balanced with a good hop bite. Some general citrus flavors combined with more prominent notes of pine, grapefruit, grain and cereal for a solid pale ale. I would drink this beer regularly.

Overall: 9/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
