Birra del Borgo ReAle

This beer appeared an amberish orange with an impressive white head. There were light citrus and malt aromas which were slightly hard to pick out among the smells of petrol and perfume which came from all around me as I sat at Bir & Fud. The flavor painted a clearer picture of tropical and citrus hops blending with caramel malts. There was also a slight nuttiness to the malt flavor. It was very easy to drink and exactly what I like in a pale ale. The balance between the sweetness of the malt and bitterness of the hops was excellent. It also went well with my capricciosa pizza.

Overall: 9/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
