Andechs Berg Bock Hell

This beer poured an amazingly clear yellow with a small white head that didn't stick around. There was floral, grass, hay, cracker, and lemon in the aroma. The first sip revealed a very smooth beer with a medium mouth feel and slight bitterness. The flavor focused on cracker and grass with a touch of honey to lend just a touch of sweetness to balance the slight bitterness at the end of the flavor. If you want to try a beer that drinks like a heavier bodied Helles, then this beer will give you what you are looking for.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
