Maisel and Friends Stefan's Indian Ale

One of my friends brought this beer over to share during our weekly game night. It came out an orangish brown with a slightly uneven head, which was probably due to not pouring a full glass of beer. I could smell a decent bouquet of tropical fruit floating on top of some sweet malt. I was impressed with a flavor which had pineapple, orange, and lemon as well as some sweet caramel. There was a somewhat bitter finish. I think many American IPA lovers might find this offering too mild, but I felt it was an easy drinking well balanced IPA and definitely worth a try.

Overall: 8/10

Hi, I'm Colin, I love a good hoppy IPA, but I can find immense enjoyment in a solid session beer, imperial stout, quadrupel or a nostalgic beer from my past.
