Schönramer India Pale Ale appeared a hazy solid orange with gold tint in the bottom of the glass and a big white head. Nice grapefruit, rind and floral hops made for a pleasant and appropriate aroma. The hop notes combined with caramel and more citrus and lemon punch in the flavor for a hoppy but well balanced IPA. This beer had a medium body and a spritzy carbonation. German IPAs are a mixed bag, but this one was quite enjoyable and worth drinking if you encounter it.
